I’m Javi Bermudez—a professional bass player and trombonist who has dedicated my career to both performing and teaching music. My restless curiosity has led me to explore a wide range of genres: jazz, flamenco, funk, salsa, Brazilian music, and beyond.
This diverse musical journey has shaped how I approach arranging. Every score I create draws from real experience—not just theoretical knowledge, but the practical insights gained from countless rehearsals and live performances with different ensembles.

My Approach to Arranging
There’s a gap between what’s commercially available in music arrangements and what ensembles actually need to sound their best. Many arrangements look great on paper but fall apart in rehearsal—impractical passages, poor balance between sections, or writing that doesn’t suit the instruments.
